Digital Millennium Copyright Act Notice
SonifAi respects the intellectual property rights of others and expects its users to do the same. In accordance with the Digital Millennium Copyright Act of 1998 ("DMCA"), we will respond expeditiously to claims of copyright infringement committed using our service.
Filing a DMCA Takedown Notice
If you believe that content available on SonifAi infringes your copyright, you may submit a written notification containing the following:
A physical or electronic signature of a person authorized to act on behalf of the owner of the copyright interest
Identification of the copyrighted work claimed to have been infringed
Identification of the material that is claimed to be infringing and information sufficient to locate the material (URL)
Your contact information (address, telephone number, and email address)
A statement that you have a good faith belief that the disputed use is not authorized by the copyright owner, its agent, or the law
A statement that the information in the notification is accurate, and under penalty of perjury, that you are authorized to act on behalf of the copyright owner
Where to Send DMCA Notices
Please include "DMCA Takedown Request" in the subject line.
Counter-Notification
If you believe your content was removed by mistake or misidentification, you may submit a counter-notification containing:
- Your physical or electronic signature
- Identification of the material that has been removed and where it appeared
- A statement under penalty of perjury that you have a good faith belief the material was removed by mistake or misidentification
- Your name, address, telephone number, and a statement that you consent to jurisdiction of federal court in your district
Repeat Infringers
SonifAi maintains a policy of terminating, in appropriate circumstances, users who are deemed to be repeat infringers. We may also limit access to our service and/or terminate accounts of users who infringe any intellectual property rights of others, whether or not there is any repeat infringement.
Response Timeline
Initial Response: Within 24-48 hours of receiving a valid DMCA notice
Content Removal: Expeditiously upon verification of valid notice
Counter-Notice Review: 10-14 business days before restoration if no legal action filed
Misrepresentation Warning
Please note that under Section 512(f) of the DMCA, any person who knowingly materially misrepresents that material is infringing may be subject to liability for damages, including costs and attorney's fees.
